In short

Kmila is free and for everyone. This website only asks for an email and a username, for a single purpose: so it can save the projects you create here. We will never ask you for a payment, banking details, or any additional personal information — neither on this website nor in the app.

What we collect

To create an account we store your email address and a username, and your password in hashed form. If you sign in with an external provider (e.g. Google), we receive the basic profile data you authorize. We don't ask for any other personal data.

How we use it

We use your email and your username for a single purpose: to identify you so we can save and show the projects you create inside this website. Your email also lets us confirm your account and reset your password. Nothing else. We don't sell your data, show ads, or track you for commercial purposes.

We never ask for payments or extra data

Kmila is free, open-source software for everyone. The native application does not ask for any data or account to work. No one on the Kmila team will ever ask you for personal information, passwords, or payments. If someone does so in Kmila's name, be suspicious — it isn't us.

Demo data

The demo runs Kmila entirely in your browser (compiled to WebAssembly). It needs no account, and your code and projects never leave your device — they are saved locally in your browser (IndexedDB) and are never uploaded to or stored on our servers. Clearing your browser data removes them, and work isn't synced between devices, so don't keep anything in the demo that you can't afford to lose. Its performance also differs from the native application.

Your rights

You can change your password or delete your account and data at any time from the "My account" section.
